Here is the bandsaw I transplanted from Lars's ex-shop - 16" Jet. It is my replacement for a 14" open stand Jet I sold a couple years ago. Had a 12" Jet in interim but a buddy needed it so we traded some stuff for it. Also showing the wheels of both my saws.

Just a warning, MM20s tend to be aggressive and try to thin the herd of weaker specimens, you need to keep them a safe distance from other saws. If it hadn't been for an unusual late night trip to the shop my PM 141 would have been a goner. I had to choke the Minimax off using a Lenox Trimaster, it was like trying to get a lion off a gazelle or what I would think that would be like anyway.

Congrats, you suck!

Why are there wheels on the top of the MM? LOL!

It is a storage spot for the mobility kit arm. It comes off and pivots the saw up under the foot break. I have GLC casters on it though so it rarely gets used. :)

Mike, what are the extrusions at the spine for? Are they fixed or just stored? Just also looking at the amount of Laguna on the MM, if there is an RK blade on it you are getting close to needing to give Laguna second billing with at least a small sticker under the Minimax. Not sure if that would make Torben smile or frown...

The extrusion is a jig I made to drill parts for Joes CastsCNC builds. It is for the alum boxes that attach the 8020 to the carriages. It is just stored on the bandsaw.

The trimaster is on there right now but the RK is on a table - I just sent 3 Laguna blades to Sanders Tools to get cut and rewelded for the Jet - 1/8", 1/4", 3/8". I got some crazy surface rusting on the RK some how. None of my other blades have ever done anything like that.

I made how-to websites on how to install the driftmaster and the ceramic guides on the MM - unsolicited. Torben was pretty happy - he heavily discounted a demo T1002S for me.
