Dust collection fittings from Rockler

Has anyone used these fittings (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?Offerings_ID=25225&max=999) for the dust collection separator? Either in a Thien design or as shown on the Rockler site? I would imaged if used in the Thien separator, the curve would have to be removed for the center port.
