Planer gloat

Well I got the Dewalt 733 planer set up (CL score), with dust collection thanks to Sawmill Creeker John Fitzgerald who sold me the dust collection hood. I had a Delta but this gives a nicer finish and has more power. Amazing that the dust collection hood points in the right direction for my location (lucky). The planer came with an extra set of new blades. The old ones had only been used on some clear western red cedar so they are as good as new.

My previous planer (the delta), I built a similar stand except I put 4 "rollers" of PVC, 2 on the infeed and 2 on the outfeed (wood dowel in the center and a lag bolt to hold in place. I found that the rollers didn't roll.225338

So I simplified the design this time.
