View Full Version : O.T. Is there a good repair for a metal door

that has a shallow crease about 12" long. It's on the interior side of the door and I'd like to repair it before I paint the door. Thanks Alan in Md.

How about Bondo or such? Anything that works on a car door will work there.

I'll second that Howard. I have used bondo not only on exterior metal doors but also on wood garage doors. Once it is painted you can't tell which is the bondo and which is metal or wood.

...but buy the "Icing". Comes in a tube and is creamy. Use a surf former to smooth down the build up as it is drying. Not after it cures. Spot prime and your good to go.

store for some bondo. Next time I'll get some help carrying out a big console t.v. Man that thing was heavy. Alan in Md.
