After my first cores I decided to wait till I watched Reed's video before I attempted any more. This is a real nice spalted ambrosia maple log. These cores are from the same log, and cored very easy. I was happy to have this tool as it saved me from making some real nice saw dust. Comments are welcome. Russell224775224774

Russell, I would say you have it down pat!! Nice work, and the wood is beautiful - those are going to make some wonderful bowls.

Glad you figured out how to use the coring system! Beautiful wood and you have the makings of some really nice sets!

Looks great Russell. Did you re-sharpen the cutters into that point shape or are you still using the doge ear shape? Mine are the dog ear shape and I've wondered about re-grinding them to the newer shape.

Scott mine came with the tip shaped like a point. It works good, the only thing I can compare to is the woodcut. This has much larger knives.
