Turnig on hold, Surgery is set for tomorrow

Well after a long wait I'm scheduled to go in for my eye surgery tomorrow, (Vitrectomy) on my right eye. I've already had this done to the left eye so I kind of know what to expect and that it will be 6-8 weeks before I'll have the vision restored in my eye.
This will now be surgery # 7 that I've had done to my eyes over the past 3 yrs. which all started with initially having cataracts removed.
So no shop time or turning for me for the next two months.

John good luck on the surgery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am in the middle of cataract surgery right now. I had my left eye done on the 8th. I am going in on the 27th for my right. I can't believe how much better I can see already. The biggest thing I notice is how bright things are now.

Godspeed on the surgery and recovery. I' ve over a dozen eye surgeries personally and recovered excellently every time. Now going through a " temporary " spat of double vision that has halted my turning for 3 months. Docs say will go away in time. Hang in there and trust!

I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and thoughts.
The surgery appears to have gone well, even though the eye is filled with gas and I am unable to clearly see anything I can tell that it will be better than before the surgery as the gas bubble is crystal clear.
I've had this same proceedure done to my left eye, but the results were not as good as this latest one and I will most likely have it done again in the future, but for now I'm quite pleased with the results on the right eye. Still will be apx. 2 months though before I'll be able to see well enough to be turning again.
