Thanks guys (and gal!). This was very unexpected as I wasn't all that impressed with the finished product, myself. But I guess that most of us aren't truely satisfied with our work 100%. I suppose I might do a few more variations on this design and see if anything pans out. After all, goblets (wine glass shape) are very fun to turn. The embelishments are just time consuming!

Steve, the cover photo gets changed everyday. There are a handfull of turners that have been selected to pick the cover shot on specific days. Each one has different turning styles so they won't always get a cover photo that is the same style of piece....or the same artist.

Steve- the cover "honor" is only good for 24 hrs. of fame, then back to being a commoner just like the rest of us! We have a committee of 7 WOW long time members that makes the selection each day, and that insures a nice mix of differing selection criteria and tastes.
