Very nice. :) Any unusual method involved in the bleaching? Was it before or after final turning/sanding? With that kind of effect, I would be inclined to experiment with other woods, too.

It's about 5"d x 6"t. I finish turn and sand to 320 then I put a few coats of the bleach on then let dry. After drying I lightly sand the raised grain to 320 again the apply a few coats of Deft sanding sealer and buff. An oil finish will darken it again. I've tried other woods but have been unhappy with the results.
