I had a small piece of tiger maple back in a corner. I made a couple of candlesticks last weekend. I like one better than the other. 2 3/4" dia x 15 1/2" the other is 2 3/4" x 9 1/4".

I hope you weighted the bottom so they don't tip over because of the top heavyness from the candles. I drill a hole in the bottom and put in lead shot.
