I searched the forum and was unable to find any thing on this. I managed to knock my kreg miter guage off the table and now it is out of square. Is there a way to square it back up aside from using the nylon screws behind the fence?

which kreg miter gauge do you have?

all the miter gauges i have i use a handy little tool named 'Miterset' http://miterset.home.comcast.net/~miterset/index.html (http://miterset.home.comcast.net/%7Emiterset/index.html)
to set them correctly.

just go over to Dick's site and get one ordered. low price, awesome tool!

Yep. That's a good idea.
It would save me risking damage to my Starrett Engineers' square.

But of course, no matter how accurately you set the mitre guide, you won't get an accurate cut unless the mitre-guide channel and the saw blade are parallel to each other.
