How to delete files

I don't see how to delete uploaded files with the File Manager. Help please. :confused:

Sam, members have the option to edit or delete their posts within the first 24 hours. After 24 hrs, you must contact either a Moderator or Administrator.

Not expressing myself clearly, sorry. I don't want to delete posts, I'm asking about my "attachments" folder. When I upload a new photo or image for a certain thread I still see all the attachments from previous posts. Don't need to be storing those on the forum server. I've tried selecting them all and deleting but that is obviously not the correct procedure.

If you deleted them there it would remove them from their respective posts.
