Wood Book?

My wife asked me if I know of a book that shows good pics of various types of wood as well as listing whether or not the dust is hazardous or an irritant. I'd like info on how hard, workable etc the wood is. I don't really know of one. I suspect she wants to one so she can suggest materials to use in the projects she wants me to start.

Any suggestions? I would think the more species (domestic and exotic) covered, the happier she'll be.

World woods in Color by William Lincoln has everything you'd need to know about quite a number of species.As far as whether a species is an irritant he usually makes a remark about it, but not in every case.
