Race cars Thanks to Michelle Rich

Here are a batch of race cars ready to go over to our local battered womens shelter. Michelle posted a logging truck she made a while back and it reminded me that I used to do this. I just needed a reminder. The local Kids also thank you.
They are made out of poplar and walnut. they do have some turning on them so I hope I can show them here. The back wheels are turned. The drivers are also turned. The front wheels are kind of special to me because they are left over from the days when my father used to make cars. He has been gone for over ten years now so it was nice to use some of his stuff too.

Can I be a kid again?!!? I still have some of the wooden cars that someone made for me when I was a boy. Mine were not as fine as these, but the point is, these are toys that should serve those kids for a lot of years.
