Pattern bit sharpening

I have a whiteside pattern bit that could use some sharpening. Where is a good place to have this done? How much does sharpening the bit change the flushcut with the bearing?

I use Ballew Saw and Tool but there may be one closer to you.

Yes it will change the relationship of cutter to bearing, but for many things it does not matter so it is still a useful tool. If nothing else you can rough out with it and then take a clean up pass with a fresh bit.

The place I use will grind the bearing to size on pattern bits to keep them the same size. Ask about it they probably will.
