I have never use them but I am not sure I would like them. If they get damp will that make them all stick together? If you got just a little too much water would it come out and raise the grain of the wood?
I use the expansible compressed spirals dowel and have no problem with them at all, put a little glue in the hole and press them in, the glue then come out around the top of the hole and I know I have them glued well.
