This cute litte screwdriver set was on sale at Menards for $2.50 with a $2.50 rebate. Free is the right price so I bought a few. They are a little funky and benefit from a turned handle. I got the idea for the bit storage from a magazine article I saw last summer. A small magnet and a small head finish screw hold the lid shut. This is my pototype from a scrap of elm with a quick WOP finish. I think they will make nice gifts.

Very nice. I can never find my stubby, and when I do it's the flat when I wanted the Phillips, or vice-versa. Only thing I would wish for is a set of square drives and some Torx bits, but you can only make the handle so big.

Great idea. I have taken a plastic handled multi-use screwdriver and cut the handle off, but this takes it one step further with some storage.

That's just darn clever. I'm going to do that on some bit holders.

Great idea Paul. What did you do to attach the bit holder to the handle? Is it epoxyed in?

Ed, I planned to use epoxy, but it was such a tight fit that I just used a bit of CA on the shaft.
