glue-up help for SYP

I'm ready to mill and glue-up the lamination for legs on a roubo from SYP. It's a 4 ply of 1" 1/4+". My question is whether I should mill it and glue it immediately or let it sit a few days? I've only worked with SPF before and know it will move if you don't fasten it down quick and keep moving every time it's milled.
The SYP has been in my basement garage for about 6 weeks and was pretty dry (for #2 construction lumber) when I bought it.

Mill what you can glue up, nothing more. Wipe down with acetone. Then apply glue. Clamp.
