Alaskan Bowl Company: Anyone heard of it?

Hi:

Don't know if there are any Alaskan woodturners on the forum, but has anyone heard of the Alaskan Bowl Company? What is the quality of the bowls like? Anyone know what their shipping rates are ?

Yes, I have not only heard of them, but have been to their shop several times. they are located in Fairbanks and make salad bowls on a unique lathe that allows them to cut several bowls out of a single blank, each larger the the previous one. we have a couple of salad bowls that we use all the time. They are good quality, made from Alaskan birch.
