6 1/2 x 2 1/2" myrtle flat bottomed bowl finished with oil and wax. Wall approx. 3/8" and consistent. Inside finished shape with Monster hollowing rig.

I like it. I've tried to do this form and haven't been too successful so far.

That is a difficult form to turn - without having tearout beaming at you once finished! Nice work - real pretty wood! Looks like the Monster system is working well for you!

Hey Allen.
This shape is one I really like.
Can yo tell me what cutters you used in your Monster and how much sanding did you need to do on the inside?

Turned out the basic inside with a bowl gouge followed with the hollowing rig using the high speed tool bit following the outside contour and flat across the bottom. Hand sanded outside and inside walls, power sanded the bottom flat.

Good looking bowl, would love to get hold of some myrtle sometime.

Nice bowl and a nice shape, Allen. Like has been said, not an easy bowl to do. That myrtle is sure a good looking wood.
