These have gone to various folks except for 2. The group shot is everything from BEB and poly closed end to Sierra PR and COW Jr Gent. The single is a pen done for a Canadian swap, bloodwood, aluminium and white ash burl (from Keller) done sandwich style and close-end in black Ti. That one was tough. If you're off at all on the drilling, glue up or turning...it's toast. Wanted to keep it around, but the new owner was real happy to have it! Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Jim,
I like them all but the bloodwood, aluminium and white ash burl is the one that grabbed my attention. Beautiful work.

Nice work, Jim! The white ash burl came from Cory Norgart if you're looking for more of it... I just got a load of gorgeous stuff from him including some of his dyed, stabilized ash burl blanks(so sweet looking), so there may be more cutoffs in the mix for you when I can get around to turning again.

Great looking pens. I don't know which one I would choose. I like the colors in the poly closed in.

Jim

Great work on all of them. They all have the right kit attached to the right blank. The segmenting was done well to give a little extra character to the blanks. I always love any kind of burls because they are the prettiest woods out there. I know it is abit tricky when turning different media at the same time such as the aluminum and bloodwood and burl. Thanks for showing. You have been busy.

Each one looks great Jim but the the picture of all of them showing the variety of woods and styles is especially neat!

Thanks for the look see folks. I really don't like stuff that takes more than a day or two, but some of these pens are taking a few days...maybe it's worth it!
