I just picked up a Delta Uniguard the other day for $100 in excellent condition. Now I just have to make sure it doesn't sit for a year before mounting it!

By the way: Anyone have a good dust collection mod for this item? Thanks in advance!

Is it the old model Uni-guard with the disappearing splitter or the newer Uni-guard with a non-retracting splitter?

“Disappearing Splitter” see:

New model Uni-guard and splitter:

I have the older style Uni-guard with the “Disappearing Splitter” and we have become old friends….

I saw that listed on Hudson Valley Craigslist and was going to bite. I love that a Creeker got it. We don't see too many gems listed around here.

OK, OK. I've been a bit busy. I'm in the process of building built-in bookcases.

Here's a pic:

Mine is not mounted yet, and I need to get the splitter. I have a contractor saw, so I don't have a riving knife

Anyway the splitter is the stationary one. I've told it works quite well. It runs $25- $35 for the kit. The guy I bought it from (those familiar with the area) was in Florida, NY. The equipment is in mint condition. I'll order the splitter this week. Boy, is it heavy; I wish it was aluminum!
