I found a store that carries this brass in various sizes. is this a good material for the lever caps in infill planes? (I plane to make wooden but with a lever cap ( if that's the correct term) no wedge).
and what thickness should I get? would it be ok to assume any brass will work? or are some of the alloy a nightmare to work by hand?
here is the actual compound:
58%–61% Copper.
0.30% Iron maximum.
0.30% Nickel.
1.6%–2.5% Lead.
Rest is Zinc.
Compound is suitable for C37700
