I have a 4 1/2" Ryobi palm sander and can no longer find the sanding pads. Does anyone know if these have been discontinued? Even did a Google search and came up empty.

Thanks

What shape are they?

Seems like this site answers your question about discontinuing the product:

Looks like Klingspor's might carry just what you need:
http://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/vd70046/?inMed=GSTORE

Might try a different search, like 4.5 sanding disks (or discs or pads). I found these potential vendors for disks that might work:
http://www.keystoneabrasives.com/discs.html
http://www.toolorbit.com/Fein/Fein-63806195020.html
http://www.savannahtoolhouse.com/bogs4sadi50g.html
http://www.smithandarrow.com.au/Abrasives-for-Metal/Sanding-Discs/Fibre-Sanding-Discs/4-5-115mm-Sanding-Discs-c47/

All of the that said, you might want to buy a good supply now and begin to think about to replace the palm sander when the sandpaper supply is exhausted, or the sander ceases to function properly. New tool? The 5" size is pretty much the standard.

The sander is a round 4.5". Thanks for the help.

Guy beat me to it as I was going to pull up the Klingspor page once I knew the shape. Can't beat their selection and they only carry high quality abrasives as well.
