I cut some parts out of hardboard the other day, and noticed that some of the parts sort of punched out. When I looked closer I noticed instead of being cut all the way around they were almost like a perforated line. I am pretty sure my pulse is set to something like PWW=20,000.

I also think for Acrylic some people suggest 50,000 I believe.

What do you use and how often do you change this number?

Thanks,
Bruce

NOt sure that the number relates to the actual pulses per inch in your case.

I run Trotec and 10,000 PPI is max number... If I run 25-30 in vector mode the result is like a postage stamp. My normal is around 2000 for plastic. higher for thicker material.
