It starts simply enough... What is a 19th.C. style plane (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?110334-Another-19th-C-style-plane-I-made)? Well take a look, it won't hurt right? No, it doesn't hurt but WOW look what George Wilson made with his hands!

Ok that was neet what else is there? Old Money? What could that be? Oh... Randall Rosenthal makes money (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?161218-quot-old-money-quot) in his studio, out of a block of wood... using only a knife and some paint... without a printing press? How do you even imagine a project like that?

Mark Valsi takes some old sticks and makes an Artist's chest of drawers (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?180707-Artist-s-chest-of-drawers/page2) for his mother's studio. Where do you get the idea for something as beautiful as that?

Klauss and Pedders... beautiful functional art! Two Lawyers Toolworks (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftwo-lawyers-toolworks.blogspot.com%2F&ei=frUqT-PjHcKjiQLH3s3JCg&usg=AFQjCNGSeygGYGNNRcbCZEqAWjsILHH0Ow&sig2=QK7vEHhEQwpHt4mX70cVQw)

Too much talent to possibly list.... I've got time to look at just one more post....

The level of artistry within this forum is amazing to me. Well done to all of you. And Thanks for sharing!

Thanks also to SMC for being the least expensive addiction I have ever had.

When I first came to The Creek, I only looked at posts in the Engraver's forum. Eventually, I started venturing out into other spots, like the Turner's, but going directly to those forums to see what new posts had been made since I last checked an hour ago.

When the "search new posts" function was broken for a few weeks, I was devastated, as I was now forced to see new posts in every forum. Now? I left the "what's new" functionality to search for every new post and I pick and choose what fits my mood for the moment. Yeah, all too often it takes me off on a tangent, so I try to reign myself in.

I can certainly echo that sentiment.

This however I have to disagree with.... My tool collection has definitely "improved" since I discovered SMC.. at no small cost.
