Hi all,
Here is my latest piece:
221929
This is a piece of elm with some nice spalting. The top and the base are ebony. The finish is three coats of Minwax natural (209) followed by two coats of natural Danish oil followed by three coats of General Finishes oil and urethane topcoat. The final coats gave it the look I was after but it no longer has a nice woody feel but I decided this was for pretty and not for feel.
It is 4 inches at the widest spot and about 10 inches high.
Comments and questions welcome.
-Pete
