Webframe or solid panel?

I'm trying to figure out if when making the carcass for a unit like the one below (or any cabinet that has drawers on the bottom) if the bottom panel should be a webframe or a solid panel. Or does it really matter?

Doesn't matter unless you are a messy housekeeper or have ferrets, mice or other small creatures running about.
