This 7" x 2" bowl was dyed a real dark black. Too dark and I had to do a lot of sanding to bring it back. Next was a layer of blue and that was washed with some alcohol to soften the blue and erase some from the wood. Then I steal wooled with #0000. The rim was beaded and undercut. All these bowls turned easy and very little torn brian on the fiddled wood.

Love how the dye brings out all that curl! Nice variety of colors!

Pretty wood! I'm kind of partial to the natural look, but it's hard to argue with the 'pop' that dye gives!

This is my second favorite of the three! As always, the rim treatment is great and the form is very nice.
