check your depth stop!

I was planing some walnut yesterday and had the stop set for 3/4". Never had a problem before, but I thought after a few passes that the wood seemed too thin. Yep, the depth stop had turned down some! I raised the cutterhead and adjusted everything back to normal and put some blue locktite on the stop threads and nut.
Oh, this was on the DW735 Dewalt.

Well ... the thread title said it all. My first thought was "THIS can't be good ;)"

Good reminder. With the DRO on my planer, I'm pert' near paranoid about checking, before I put important stock through.....
