Any one having a problem with FF 9.0? Mine hangs up and it also crashes when I click on a WMV file. I tried deleting and reloading it but now it stuck trying to start up. How do I get a copy of FF 7.0?

Problems here also. I just use Chrome for now and will wait for the next FF update and hope it fixes the 9.0 problems.

Sean,

I can't even get it to come up now, it just hangs.

Only older version of FF I could find was 3.6 and so far it's working ok.

I quit using FF, and use Chrome now. Much faster than FF and IE.

I'm sticking with FF 4.0.1 on the desk unit until the addons catch up with the new versions. I've got FF 7.0.1 on the laptop. Is Chrome really that much faster? I've had no problems with FF and like the options it has. Might have to try Chrome on the desk unit just to see. Jim.

I was using Firefox and had some nagging problems and issues. I recently switched to Chrome and have had no issues at all. I probably will stay with it awhile.

Isn't it nice that there are good alternatives to IE?

I also have 9.0.1 and it works great. Maybe you should reload it. Might have had a download issue.

I'll have to give it another try. Chrome is ok but I like the FF addons.

Peter, try deleting all your cookies and update to the latest FF version. I didn't know 9.0 was loaded.

A great free program to get rid of "behind door" files, cookies, history and clean your registry files is a program called CCleaner. I been using it for over 5 yrs. I have put it on a lot of computers for help. It's a very easy/safe program to run about 1x week. They also have a great Defrag program.

But I would load ccleaner and run both the cleaner and registry cleaner. You'll be amazed.

Has crashed several times on my Windows XP laptop. No problems with Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit on my desktop.

I may switch to google chrome permanently....firefox seem slow to address issues.

So if you change to Chrome, do you loose all your settings, bookmarks, etc???
