I am printing 1,200 decals on sheets of 48ea..
each circle if approx. 1.25 " in diameter.

There will be 6 columns and 8 rows. All of the
copy will be exactly the same except for a number
at the bottom which will start with 1 and end with
1200. So there will be 1200 total images.

I have researched for a while with merge in Corel X5
as well as other ideas on the net. I would settle
for just a quick way to produce the 1,200 separate
numbers and place them in the circles myself at this
point. I wouldn't ask if I hadn't tried on my own
for awhile but I put a couple of hours into and would
appreciate any hints.

Thank you,

John

John,
I have a very large engraving job on anodized aluminum that included serial numbers. I run 20 parts at a time and serializing is very easy with X5 and print merge. I use a spreadsheet to generate the numbers and then save as a csv to feed print merge. I have "num1" through "num20" as the data fields and have placed them in my drawing where they need to go. In Excel I have columns num1 through num20 and the rows contain the data. First row would be 1-19, second is 20-39, etc. Yours would be num1 - num48 and your columns would be the same name. If this makes no sense at all, send me your drawing with a full page and I'll help you create the merge template as well as the spreadsheet. Once you see it complete it will make perfect sense.
