This is the first HF using the monster articulated system. It is 6.5" tall and 4" wide. Pretty consistant 1/8" thickness.
Just a coat of oil at this point, will buff after drying.

Very nice, pleasing shape.

Hey Keller, did you type out your message with a pencil in your mouth? Double hand surgery still seem like a wise choice? :)

Like the shape very much Steve. It's hard to go wrong with anything made of Walnut as far as I am concerned.

The more I see folks jumping into hollow forms with great success like this, the more inspired I get to make an articulated arm system and try the fun myself.

Steven, you're probably hooked now! That came out very well, very well indeed.
I wouldn't have changed a thing. Great work!

An absolutely beautiful form and finish. The slight upward flair at the top really brings it all together. The soft look of the finish also lends to its beauty. Well done.

A real winner Steven, but the base could have been rolled under a bit to create a shadow line, to separate it from the surface on which it sits.
