I spent some time getting this polished up and in the process, knocked the blue back a little to let more of the wood color show through. I thought I might try a "Mark Hubl" style composite photo. The image ended up pretty big and I had to compress it a lot to post it so the finish does not really read well. But it was fun playing around with photoshop...

I liked it before... I love it now! Wow did that turn out good. Are you free handing the spheres or do you have a jig?

That's very beautiful; dark and mysterious looking. It's going to make many of us want to learn how to do spheres.

It just keeps getting better! Knocking back the blue just a touch really brought alot more interesting stuff out of it. The photo looks great and I like how the finish appears in the pic.

David, your orbs have spun into orbit!!! Fantastic pic, and I like the new look for the dye/color.

"...your orbs have spun into orbit..."

Not quite sure how to take that! But I'll assume it's a complement and say thanx. And thanx again to David Reed for providing the material and to Mark Hubl for the inspiration on the pic...
