Title just about says it all. My FIL has a soup tureen and my wife wanted to know if I could make a bowl that looks like it, so here is the result. It is walnut 14 x 8" to the top of the knob. Not exactly like the tureen, but close enough for SWMBO work. It's nice to turn something different once in a while.

Steve, that is some nice work. The test of time will be whether the lid will fit. With the size of this piece, and the differing grain of the two halves, it may be tricky. I hope it does well for you.
