Powermatic 54A 6" Jointer

would this be a good jointer looking for one and have found one at a good price I think and what would a going price be for a like new one thanks

It is a solid jointer. I assume it has straight knives. 450 to 550 would be a good price. Much more than that and I would really start to question the value of a 6" jointer no matter how good the condition was, a lot of 8" jointers become appealing at that price point.

I have the 54HH and it is nice. Tables are flat and it puts a perfect straight edge on a board. That said I so wish I got an 8" or bigger now.
