This is another yellowwood bowl. It ended up 6.25" x 4". Almost didn't leave enough thickness with the rough out to have a bowl once I got it round again. Finished in home brew oil and beall buffed with ren wax.

Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.

That is pretty! Great looking form and the coloring throughout the grain is really cool! Looks like you got it about as thin as possible!! Very nice work!

Very cool. I like that its so thin w/ the NE. sounds like you didn't intend to go that thin... sometimes the wood has other plans. in this case it pushed you to something really cool. Nice job.

Steve, I am impressed with the thinness - even if it was a byproduct of warp!!! Nice work, and the background for the pic sure highlights the color.

That is some awesome tool control. Beautiful wood with a great rim. Glad it made it without blowing up. Worth all the effort.

Yellowwood. We don't have Yellowwood Trees here in Georgia, looks like it is a hardwood. I have seen reference to it before, but, thought it was that "Yellowwood" that "Yellowfellow" sells at Home Depot. Nice bowl, attractive wood.

Really nice. It looks really thin - like a potato chip.
