Does anyone know what years they produced the 14’’ Powermatic band saws in green?

Thanks Richard

Just for reference when you look at the serial # and it is an evergreen (dark green) saw this is how you tell the year:

If the serial number has 3 digits then 4 ie X41-1234 the X represents the last number in the year from 1968-1977
If the serial number has 4 digits then 4 ie XX41-1234 the XX represents the last 2 digits of the year from 1978-1981

The 41 represents the model, I assume you will be looking at a 141 or 143 the 41 being the wood only single speed, the 43 has the gear box.

The 141/143 may well be the best 14" cast saw ever made, MUCH heavier built in the bearing and tension/wheel adjustment area. The trunnions though heavier than the Delta is still the weak point. The prices on these saws usually don't look very attractive vs a Delta but it is a whale of a saw as long as you don't need resaw height higher than 6".
