View Full Version : Drawer Pull Size?

Is there any sort of standard for the size (length) of the drawer pull in relation to the drawer width? I'm finishing up a closet built-in and the drawer width is 26"; however it's face frame construction with applied false fronts so the false front panel is about 22". The pulls I've selected are 6" long and they appear to be slightly on the small side for the drawer width. The only problem is that most pulls I've found jump up considerably in size, e.g. 12" centers, and are considered appliance pulls.

While I'm at it, what are some sites you recommend for cabinet hardware? The style I'm looks for is arts and crafts, bungalow, craftsman, etc.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks,
Brett

Probably a matter of taste, but at some point, I quit looking for longer pulls and use two shorter pulls spaced apart so that I like the look. I would probably place them so that the space from the outside edge of either pull to its outside drawer edge was less than the space between the inside edges of the two pulls.
