This wood came from a tree top that fell in my grandparent's yard. I saved several nice pieces and this is from one of them. It's 7-3/4" high and 2-3/4" deep.

Many thanks to Dennis Peacock who not only let me use all his equipment to make this bowl, but has taught me what little I know and helped me keep this bowl together...:D

This bowl is going to my grandmother as a keepsake. My grandfather has been dead for about 18 years and his father is the one who planted these trees.

FYI - the third picture has a worm hole showing - not a catch...

Thanks,
Mark

Very nice bowl. Sometimes they ARE hard to keep together.

I'm sure she'll love it.

Very nice bowl! Your grandmother is going to cherrish this bowl! The history of it as well as the great looks will make it a heirloom.
