I thought I'd share my gouge sharpening jig for sharpening on my Tormek. I adapted a jig I found on Eddie Castelin's website for my use. On the bottom, I have a block that I place between the horizontal bar and the sharpening stone to set the distance for my particular gouge. As the stone is worn down, I can keep the distance the same to assure a repeatable grind. The top portion if the jig is cut to the length that I need to mount the gouge in the holder. I have a jig for both my 3/8 and 5/8 gouges.

Thanks to David Keller's suggestion, I was able to adjust the size of the picture file in order to upload. Thanks, David.

Looks good, Eric. I've never used a Tormek, but your setup looks like just the trick. FWIW, Corian is great for thread chasing as well if you ever want to try hand chasing threads.

David,
Thread chasing is on my to-do list. Or should I say my to-learn list

David, great idea! That looks a lot more efficient than the stock jig. Might need to go out to the shop and start digging in the scrap bin.
