A fellow that I work with his grandfather has handed all his woodworking equipment down to him recently. His grandfather has given him a Performax 22-44 but it needs a conveyor belt. I see posts here quite often about drum sanders and the patents under which they are made etc. He would like to purchase a belt for it but has no idea where to look or what a good price would be. Since I do not own one either I know where to begin, I did a search last evening for "Performax Parts" and really didn't give much if anything at all. Any direction that would have availability and price would be great.

Thanks,

Kevin

Jet tools bought the Performax sander line years ago. They would be the first place to look.

I found a part for my 16-32 at ereplacementparts.com.
I hope it is not against the rules to post an email address here. Good luck.

I purchased a replacement controller board for a 22-44 from Supermax Tools (supermaxtools.com, 651.454.3401). Their prices were less than 1/2 of what Jet wanted for the exact same part.

I too have been looking for a replacement belt for my Performax (16-32) sander. From what I have found there is only one manufacturer that sells a poly belt. Everyone else sells a sand paper belt.
Here is the link to the poly belt: http://www.accuramachinetools.com/replacement-conveyor-belt-for-accuraryobiperformax-etc-1632-sa.html

Also got a replacement belt for the 16-32 I used to own from The Woodworking Shop store here in NC. They are listed on the web.
