Finally fixed my bandsaw...

Since my old shop burnt this craftsman 12" bandsaw was waiting on a new front cover. The plastic one melted off. I could not find one so with a little thinking and some 3/4" plywood and some 1/4" plexiglass I came up with this. You can see it operate. Kinda neat too. I needed a second bandsaw for the 14tpi blade for use to cut my pen blanks and other small projects. My big bandsaw is for re-sawing bowl blanks. I was tired of changing blades all the time. Now all it needs is a little paint.

Well I'll have to admit that's different, but as long as it works. I would have never thought of doing that.

I think a mustard color would look great.
