I am going to build a blanket chest for my daughter and would like to get an old rustic look with the hardware.

Does anyone know a supplier for rustic looking metal or wrought iron hardware like handles, corners, edges, hinges? i checked out shenandoahrestoration and rockler already. Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks

I love using Lee Valley hardware. I know they have wrought or forged looking strap hinges I've used before.

Lee Valley has an extensive hardware collection; good stuff and nice folks to do business with.

Google Nathans Forge or Seven Pines Forge...Small Companies, hand forging. Seven Pines work is extraordinary. I've bought a number or rat tail hinges here that made others look like cheap knock offs. Seven Pines has a beautiful set of strap hinges for chests...JImmy
