For those who have an interest in an organizer for storing sanding discs, I found and purchased this: http://www.lowes.com/pd_297230-82673-014461M_0__?productId=3223383&Ntt=stanley+organizers&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Dstanley%2Borganizer s&facetInfo=
Each interior box is tall enough and wide enough to accommodate a 3 1/2" sanding disc in the vertical position. The smaller interior box will hold 50+ sanding discs of 80 grit; it will hold more of the higher grits. My back-up pads and inner-face pads fit in this organizer. I took out a side row of interior boxes and my close quarter drill fits in this organizer as well. Lowes also sells a smaller case.

Several weeks ago I read a thread about waxing the lathe. Many stated that they use a paste wax on the ways and other wood working equipment. I have also used a paste wax on my ways, but was finding that the locked down tailstock would move when I tightened the ram/quill into the work piece. One post mentioned that PG2000 penetrating lubricant would eliminate this. http://www.woodcraft.com/Family/2005938/2005938.aspx I bought a bottle from Wood Craft. I cleaned the ways and the underside of the tailstock and banjo. The surface of the ways are slicker than they were with the paste wax, but lets the banjo and tailstock grip better (I don't understand it, but that is what it does). My tailstock now stays in its locked position and does not move when I engage the ram/quill. This product also easily cleans off any wax sealer that gets onto the ways when a treated wood blank is put onto the ways. This product is silicone-free and does not attract dust. I wish to thank the person who left the post about this product.
