i have been looking at a new jig saw. in my shop i dont have a bandsaw and dont really have room for one so i thought i would invest in a nice jigsaw. i do a lot of round table tops and the new carvex jigsaws seem to have a really cool circle cutting attachment as well as many other cool things. this brings me to my real question when dose it come on to the market? it was suppose to come on this past summer i believe but if anyone has any comments or knowledge on this saw and when it is coming one to the market it would be much appreciated.

Zack,

The Carvex's introduction has been postponed for an undetermined period of time. Currently, there's no additional information regarding its introduction other than it will not be in the near future. Other than that, I don't have any other information to share about the Carvex or its release.

Our Trion jigsaws also have a circle cutter available, albeit it does not enable circles as large as the one for the Carvex. The Trion's circle cutter will go up to 28-11/32" in diameter. The Trions prices were lowered a few months back making a great jigsaw an even better value.

The Trion provides completely splinter-free and exceptionally perpendicular cuts, even in materials as thick as 4-3/4".
