looking for wood suppliers in FL or ???

I recently contracted a large project which requires several units of Alder, both FAS and "rustic"
My present suppliers have Alder, but not quite what I expect to spend, and certainly not the quality I was accustomed to when I owned a shop in Montana and did work throughout the Rockies.

are there any suppliers that ship reasonably enough? or is 6000-8000 bf not enough to consider trucking in from out of state?

No. I am not skilled enough to do any sort of carpentr/trim work. I am an RN and turn perfectly good wood into old orange crates. That and I am going to Hawaii for three weeks. There now I have told everyone on the planet.
