Hope you're not gettin' tired of seeing saws. Here's a Disston Handy Hand Saw from the 1930's l believe. The etch is all there and looks pretty cool. I like saws with the not so ordinary etch. It is 8 PPI, crosscut, 12 degree rake, and 25 degree fleam. I tried to slope the gullets a bit. Can't say to what degree but this is something I like but for an odd reason. I can't really tell if it cuts better but the visual queue really helps me with the subsequent passes to sharpen. I recently had a pretty bad eye infection (hospitalized for 3 days over Thansgiving) and my vision isn't all back yet. I find when I am taking another pass to refine the sharpening, the gullets make it very easy on the crosscuts saws to make sure I continue sharpening the right teeth. Anyway, I like this saw, I confess when I bought it I had high hopes that it would be a 120 with that handle. The blade was completely encrusted (and that is the proper characterization) in dirt so I couldn't see the etch. Fortunately, its a $10 saw and some good fun. The beech handle is in great shape but has this funny shine to it. I took what was left of the old finish off and gave it a sanding. I then applied some shellac and knocked that down with a fine abrasive pad followed by some wax. I would have thought it would be a little less shiny, feels great though. Oh yeah, almost forgot, it cuts very nicely, very fast, and tracks straight as can be, too. 218896218897218898218899218900218901218902218903

Nice Pat. Not getting sick of your saw posts at all. Keep'em coming. I've come to quite like the saw I put 25 degrees of fleam in (instead of the 20 on my others). Cuts so smooth and fast.
