I've been looking at buying an 8" grinder for sharpening turning tools. I do however have a Worksharp, that I'm thinking could do the job with a proper jig.

Has anyone who owns a Worksharp built a jig to do this? Care to share the details? Or are there reasons why this wouldn't be optimal?

Thanks

I have both. Gouges for me require frequent sharpening via a via flat bladed tools. A wheel does not require as much cleaning as does the work sharp sandpaper. For me this makes the grinder more suited for turning til sharpening.

Contact them. They were working on an adapter for the Tormek jigs.
