Picked up a couple of things at my local PS/GS today. An old hand plane and a carpet straightedge. They did have an old Craftsman 207.25530 6 1/2" circular saw. Cooool old saw...all aluminum body/base, case, manuals, even had an original tube of "lube" for the saw. I'm not a collector, but...high cool factor on this one. $25! Might have to make an offer on this saw! I've seen a lot of collectable hand tools, but never a "power, hand toool" like this. Don't know that it's "collectible, but really a cooool old saw. Greg

I've wondered too, about the collectible value(?) of older power tools. A local flea
market has about 5 very uniique older circular saws.

The web site that's mentioned here occasionally only seems interested in the high end
stuff.

I suppose it's mostly what it's worth to you to show off.:D

There are some good sites out there for Vintage Tools. Also check ebay and see what they are selling for. I find a lot of old hand tools at yard sales, etc...most people want next to nothing for them, most just want to them gone, they might have a little rust, but a good cleaning, they work perfectly.

Here a couple sites
