Hello

I have been watching for some time and decided it was time to post some of my projects.
This is a maple and bloodwood bowl or platter please tell me what you think

First I'd like to say welcome to a fellow segmenter. 2nd I'll say you've done a very nice job. I'm wondering, are the segments below your feature ring staves or are they regular segments? Either way you've done a beautful job.

Mike, welcome to the fun part of the creek - posting your work is a bunch of fun. Great work on the segmentation, and I love the Thunderbird pattern.

Welcome Mike, haven't tried segmenting yet, but sure enjoy seeing folks like you and Bill Wyko that share these creations. Very sweet first posting, and as assumed...you don't appear to be a newbie to the lathe!

Great first post!! Awesome segmetation! I've done a ton of segmenting & I know this took tons of time & great patience. Grand piece & now I'm addicted & will require More, more,more...
